Bruce directs strategy and staff for Environment Washington's campaigns to ensure protections for our environment and strong environmental policies at the state and federal levels. In his role, Bruce has helped convince Whatcom County and Edmonds to commit to 100 percent renewable energy, and he co-authored the report, "Road to a Fossil Free Washington," detailing policies the state can adopt to aid the transition to electric vehicles. Bruce also helped enact Honest Elections Seattle, which gives citizens a stronger voice in our elections. Prior to assuming his current role, Bruce served as the director of WISPIRG, Massachusetts Community Water Watch and Wisconsin New Voters Project. Bruce lives in Seattle with his wife, Heidi, and their two sons, Sylvan and Wyatt. Bruce enjoys biking, cross-country skiing and exploring Washington’s parks with his family.
